A leitura nos anos iniciais do ensino fundamental: um estudo de caso em uma escola pública do município de Água Branca - AL

Abstract

The present work has as a central issue the reading in the early years of elementary school, being carried out from a case study in a public school of the municipality of Água Branca/AL. The reading, for its essentiality in human social life, from birth to the end of life, has a vast purpose of studies that draws the attention of researchers to the creation of multiple academic works related to the subject, which, in this copy, treats of a school in the community that I have lived in, and that it is of total knowledge that the reading levels are lagged, needing to improve in many respects, knowing the necessity, on the part of the whole society, of a greater awareness and incentive to the practice of reading, And a deepening of its quantities. The goal was to analyze the practices and conceptions of reading in the extension of the school in the village Moreira de Lower, rural area of the municipality of Água Branca/AL, in the search for evidence of the main difficulties for teachers and students in the scope of reading, reporting Occurrences of their practices. Considered, reading, a tool unit in the learning process, it was sought, through important documents for the order of Brazilian education and authors such as Abramovich (1997), Cagliari (2009), Cosson (2014), Freire (1991), Lajolo (1982), among Others, a theoretical support for this work proposal. We use as a tool to research a questionnaire with objective questions to better know the causes and difficulties faced by teachers and students in the aspect studied here. After the analysis of the questionnaires, it was identified as a major problem for the advancement of learning about reading in school, the absence and lack of incentive almost total by the majority of the families of the students, in addition to insufficient resources that the School offers. It takes into account that the beginning of literacy in the early years is hard work, where reading should be worked meaningfully, with diversified materials, so that students will take a liking from the age and know the value and importance of this Learning in their lives
