O saber-existência das mulheres rurais: histórias de vida a partir dos feminismos subalternos e decoloniais

Abstract

The current research is started from the life story of a rural woman, which can be comprehended on the basis of the decolonial theories and of subaltern feminisms, through the narratives concerning her ways of life, the resistance movements and subalternation. The rural environment is perceived as a place of subjectivity, creation of unique lifestyles, an area of weaknesses and potential towards the relationships between these women and their territory. Women who own the knowledge of their land, represent the seeds of resistance in Mother Earth, present stories of fighting for their rights based on social movements and involvement in rural cooperatives and associations, each one moves according to the singularities of their rural zones, which are diverse. In addition, we comprehend the consequences of the acting of psychology inserted in the public policies, since we hold the theory and practice based on urban models of life and subjectivity, which aren’t able to handle the aspects of the rural environment toward the interlocution with genre, ruralities, generation and regional themes. The methodology adopted is the qualitative research for it allows the researcher to put herself on her position of speaker, wich is also subaltern for the reason that she is a young and rural woman as well. Therefore, recordings of the meetings plus the production of field diaries were the registration means. The data produced during the sessions with the interlocutor were analyzed seeking to comprehend the ways of life built by rural women from their subaltern and marginal existence, and the possibilities created by them on the everyday relationships in their territories. Three categories were produced to bring the analyzis of these sessions: 1) The journey to School: the interlocutor’s report card and all the interferences in the schooling process, which are unique, but which may speak about the precarious access to school in the rural areas; 2) The farm, the goat farming and the collectives: it brings the discussions concerning the familiarity the interlocutor has with the farm and with work since her youth, her insertion in the associations and the development of her collective identity from them; 3) Being a rural woman: it’s a space to discuss the interfaces estabilished about who we are as rural women, from the family, work, social and church relationships.
