Segurança pública e educação: uma breve análise da ronda escolar em Delmiro Gouveia - AL

Abstract

Considering the high levels of violence in Brazil, this situation is reproduced in the school environment resulting from the experiences and processes of socialization in which the school community is inserted. Considering this reality, and assuming that it is necessary the dialogue, within the scope of intersectoral actions, between Public Security and Education, the present work carries out an analysis of the policy of implementation of the project "School Round": action and prevention in combat to violence in schools, "developed by agents of the Municipal Civil Guard of Delmiro Gouveia, Alagoas, whose performance is constantly carried out by planning scales in all municipal schools in the rural and urban area of that city, with the purpose of reducing crime rates . This is an exploratory research with a bibliographical survey and field research carried out with five (05) civil guard agents and five (05) teachers with the intention of collecting data about the planning and execution of the Ronda Escolar project, where we analyze the perception of the GM teachers and safety in the school environment from a questionnaire (APPENDIX I) that asked them about the main changes seen with the School Round, about the satisfaction of the interviewees with the program, about the main problems still seen in schools, among others. The main focus of the School Round program is to implement preventive actions in educational institutions, aiming at reducing and controlling violence and drugs. The RE is also present in order to protect children who are inside the school from any kind of attitudes that violate their rights. To guide the scientific production of this work of conclusion of course we support ourselves in productions of Abramovay (2015), Barboza (2013), Carvalho (2016), Oliveira (2008) and Rateke (2016). The results of the survey revealed that, based on the questions answered by instructors and municipal guard agents, in this survey conducted in Delmiro Gouveia / AL, respondents considered that the program greatly improved student behavior with 25%, followed by 21% occurrences related to drug use when questioned about the changes seen with the School Round in Delmiro Gouveia's educational institutions. In addition, on the satisfaction of the performance of the RE in schools, 70% were satisfied, yes, they were satisfied. However, there was a considerable 50% percentage of the main problems seen by teachers and agents still unresolved being thefts and fights. The instructors also suggested that in addition to Ronda's activities, they could involve other themes, such as: Environment Projects, together with the environment secretary; activities covering sports and health promotion.
