Abstract

The main objective of this work is to highlight the geography of Rancho Santo Agostinho in the municipality of Rio Largo- Alagoas, and which geographic factors allowed sustainable fish farming in the place, present the use of water, the main techniques of fish farming, creation in ponds, ponds, dams or dams to be able to understand how the activity works in the place, and then, discuss about the environment and the impacts of fish farming in Rancho Santo Agostinho, and analyze the creative knowledge about environmental education, before using natural resources , the methodology used was qualitative research through bibliographic surveys, field work, photographic records and descriptive images and data analysis of the place under study, in this way it was possible to present fish farming, its techniques and its relationship with the environment . As a result, we would like to emphasize the care for the environment in the place, and the benefits for the whole society when obtaining the geographic knowledge of the place Where the fishing activity is intended to be implemented.
