Batman: uma análise do personagem Batman/Bruce Wayne nos filmes Batman (1989), Batman Returns (1992), de Tim Burton

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the character Batman/Bruce Wayne in order to identify which type of hero fits the profile of this character, in two filmic works by Tim Burton, Batman (1989) and Batman Returns (1992). Since this character has a variety of characteristics, which makes him believable and complex. To this end, we approach the relationship between this character and the comics, in addition to bringing the concept and properties of this archetype of hero and anti-hero. Given the complexity presented by this character, we will point out its nocturnal and gothic aspects, and the double bringing the particularities of Batman and Bruce Wayne as a hero. The research is qualitative and bibliographical, covering several areas such as cinema, literature, psychology, among others. So, it is an interdisciplinary research. It was used as a theoretical basis, the studies of Vogler (2006), Campbell (1997), Comparato (2000), Campos (2007), Jung (2002), Menon (2007), Faria (2016), Pervin and John, (2004) and others.
