Espacialização geomorfológica da paisagem: um estudo da etnogeomorfologia de pescadores da Vila de Entremontes – Piranhas – AL

Abstract

The recognition of landscape and relief by a people who inhabit a land and at the same time is part of the spatial cut is eminent. When riverine people know the geomorphology of their region, they can use it for their survival. Ethnogeomorphology focuses on this reality. In fact, man is part of his typical region and he lives and recognizes himself there. The community chosen was the fishermen of Baixo São Francisco, from Vila de Entremontes , municipality of Piranhas (AL). From the perspective of traditional peoples, it is necessary to bring to the light of science the importance of sinners in their present, past and future. Recognizes is the general objective of this research, for this it is necessary to analyze the knowledge of fishermen about the geomorphology of the region, as well as use it as a tool for survival and social and cultural development . The research is descriptive and will have an intentional non-probabilistic sampling. In any case, it is possible to observe and identify, through this work, the peculiarity of the fishermen of the village of Entremontes . It is evident that within their activities, fishing is in the first place, but there are still handicrafts, family farming, environmental extractivism in addition to fishing . It is concluded that the customs and knowledge of the fishing community in the lower São Francisco region are important for social, cultural and environmental development.
