Invisibilidade e sofrimento: uma análise epistemológica dos jovens em situação de encarceramento e egressos do sistema socioeducativo em Alagoas

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the social reality of young people supported in the socio-educational system, and our focus is the recognition of the subject of law, whether internal or egress in the socio-educational system in Alagoas. For this, we will use as a theoretical basis the concept of the world of life, positioning Habermas (1989) when he lists, among other things, three structural components: culture, society and the person, which also correspond to three "functional aspects” of communicative action. That said, in this research, we seek to highlight the third component that is presented under the prism of socialization, which is related to the formation of individuals' personal identities. Likewise, we use other important social concepts, such as Invisibility and Suffering, focusing on the works of Honneth (2011), Herzog (2019) and Menezes (2014), who present this perspective in an egalitarian and resolute way for the end of social ghosts. In addition to the dialogue with these authors, we opted for the literature review method, which is considered a secondary data collection source based on cultural or scientific contributions made in the past on a given subject, in our case, the socio-educational system and theories regarding invisibility and suffering. Thus, we started from a narrative bibliographic review, seeking, with this, to establishing relationships with previous productions, identifying recurring themes and pointing out new perspectives. Furthermore, with this method, bibliographic productions in a given area are analyzed, providing the state of the art on a specific topic, highlighting new ideas, subthemes that have received greater or lesser emphasis in the selected literature. At the end of the research, we highlight the need for a greater discussion about the State ‘s responsibility in the social recognition of these young people, following not only the Habermasian premise, but also the Honethean and Herzogian vision.
