Estudo do inconsciente na tipologia junguiana

Abstract

This research sought to revisit the book “Psychological Types” by Carl Gustav Jung with the objective of exploring the conception of the unconscious field in jungian typology, as well as to pointing out possible reverberations of this field in the functioning of the psychological structure. The jungian typology presents two psychological types, extraverted and introverted, and was a milestone in the author’s work and in his Analytical Psychology. Through a bibliographic search, it was possible to analyze and interrogate the different aspects of psychic functioning that involve the field of the unconscious and the jungian typology, such as the specificities of the types, the compensation process, the psychic balance and the investigation of the initial disposition for each type. The results have reinforced the importance of the continuous investigation of this field, as well as the current relevance that jungian typology has, both in the academic and social fields.
