Metáforas em reportagens da revista Época: uma análise retórica

Abstract

This work, entitled "A rhetorical study of the metaphor in the reports of Epoca magazine ", aimed to highlight the incidence and importance of metaphors and rhetorical functions for the construction and understanding of the reports by the reader from their titles and headlines, and to identify the implicit messages and the persuasive nature of these reports and their relationship with the text, from the point of view of a rhetorical-discursive analysis. It was based mainly on REBOUL (2000), Marcuschi (2008), RICOEUR (2000), Sardine (2007), KOCH (1999), Bahia (1990), among others. The study was partially as a result a better understanding of persuasive character, found in the reports titles and headlines, which can also circulate in other genres of journalistic sphere, and can be understood and interpreted along the story reading, genre that conveys facts and information of interest or specialized public. In it, report, circulate the various rhetorical figures and the various arguments triggered by rhetorical functions. These factors lead the reader to structure mappings and make interpretative constructions of the analyzed texts, effecting the typological and theoretical features present in the study. The relevance of the work is given by the analysis of the reports at the indicating line, watching the figures and rhetorical functions and the persuasive role they play from the title to the end of the text, which applies in the reader's daily life especially of those dedicated to reading of the genres that circulate in the discursive sphere of journalistic character.
