Dificuldades de aprendizagem do aluno com deficiência intelectual: um relato de experiência

Abstract

This study generally addresses the theme of Special and Inclusive Education in the teaching and learning process, aiming to identify the difficulties faced by teachers and students in the context of teaching and learning for individuals with intellectual disabilities from the perspective of special and inclusive education. It seeks to answer what difficulties teachers and students face in the teaching and learning process for individuals with intellectual disabilities. The approach used was qualitative research, which, through an experience report, seeks to identify not only the difficulties but also to understand and suggest possible solutions that contribute to the teaching and learning process, within the perspective presented. It was conducted in a state public school located in the municipality of Maceió-AL. The results and discussions show the difficulties faced by teachers in working with students with learning disorders, as well as how these and other difficulties are overcome in the school context. However, it is hoped that this study will not exhaust the discussions surrounding the teaching and learning process of people with intellectual disabilities, but will point to other questions that may contribute to new research on the theme of Special and Inclusive Education in the school context.
