Como brotam as flores feministas das coxias: um relato sobre a fundação do primeiro grupo de teatro feminista no Pontal da Barra

Abstract

This research begins with an awareness of the need to tell the history of Theater produced in Alagoas, even more, the history of the peripheries and their ways of thinking, consuming and producing Art. It points out the importance of reporting the current moment by visiting memories through the orality of the people who make them, taking the lead from the place of those who always narrated the deeds and were able to write – thus determining the history of books. This course completion work is the result of the powerful meeting of the Feminist Poetic study group and the research project entitled Feminist Poetic: reflections on the Theater of Alagoas, which was coordinated by Professor Drª Ana Flávia de Andrade Ferraz, who also guides me in this work. Here, I will talk about the creation of the group As Antiprincesas (today, Grupo Ambrosinas), from the NGO Ateliê Ambrosina, located in the peripheral and fishing neighborhood, Pontal da Barra, and also about the process of setting up the show When I Learned to Say No, with the first Theater group of the Casa Ambrosina project, observing the theatrical, educational and affective methodologies applied to discuss the society in which we live with a sensitive look at Art, Cultures and Feminisms.
