Movimento Estudantil Delmirense e suas memórias (1962-1985)

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the performance of the high school student movement in the municipality of Delmiro Gouveia/AL between the years 1962 and 1985, making a historical survey of this movement, highlighting its flags, challenges and the legacy left for the youth of that municipality. The time frame is justified because it was the founding period of the student movement in 1962 and in 1985 the process of democratization of the country. Based on the theoretical framework of several authors such as: Mendes Júnior (1982) Poerner (2004), Alberti (2005), Araújo (2004). Doing all this bibliographical survey, we found the absence of sources surrounding the history of the high school student movement, leading us to work with oral sources. Our work is divided into two parts: The first section addresses the history of the student movement at the national level, its trajectory, its agendas, flags and achievements that this movement had. In the second, we show the performance of the high school student movement from Delmir. With this, we perceive the performance of the high school student movement from Delmir and how significant it was in the history of the city and in the history of the movement itself.
