As invenções da escrita etno-histórica em Alagoas: Dirceu Lindoso - (1981-2015)

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the inventions of the ethno-historical writing of Dirceu Lindoso, demonstrating the use of its concepts and categories to interpret the social and historical formation of Alagoas. For this, this research dialogues with essays published by Lindoso between the years of 1981 and 2015, in which Alagoas is interpreted through theoretical solutions and inventive methodological comparisons in the face of the problematic of the absence of documents written under the popular perspective of its quilombola black and papa-mel people, indigenous, mestizo, mulatto and poor white, that is, populations with different characteristics and histories, populations with different characteristics and histories, but who have in common the fact that they do not master writing and live in situations of social miserability. In this sense, it is discussed the hypothesis that in his work Dirceu Lindoso constructs a singular type of historical anthropology from Alagoas, approaching Ethnology and History to describe the social ways of survival of these poor people, in this way, rupturing with the rationality of the alagoan traditional historiography. Thus, this conceptual study is situated within the academic debate of Cultural History, through the theoretical-methodological orientations of Michel de Certeau (2017), François Dosse (2009), Vavy Pacheco Borges (2010) and Verena Alberti (2010). In this perspective, discusses the trajectory of elaboration of the concept "amphibiality", thought by Lindoso to interpret both the "amphibian culture" that formed in the "dry-wet" of the coastal mangroves of Alagoas as to contradictions in the writing of figuration this space, realized by local intellectuals. Therefore, this research intends to contribute with the debates of the new alagoan historiography about the "geography of the eliminated", that is, to discuss the exclusion of rebellions, utopias and popular insurrections in the written representation of alagoan intellectuals and scholars from the XIX century and beginning of the XX, as well as about the insertion of the poor people of Alagoas in the local historiography from the inventions of the ethno-historical writing of Dirceu Lindoso.
