Do retrato falado ao flagrante: lirismo e realidade em minificções de Dalton Trevisan

Abstract

Dalton Trevisan's writing has instigated critics and readers with every release of his works. In the midst of such a diverse production, the lyricism was perceived by many critics and literary scholars, however, few have looked at the phenomenon and sought to understand this resource in the Trevisan texts. This work has the general objective of identifying, analyzing and understanding the presence and function of the lyrical discourse in the author's minifictions, thus seeking to contribute to literary criticism and to a better understanding of lyricism in literary texts. For this, we base our work on two main theoretical foundations: first, the literary criticism regarding the work of Dalton Trevisan, in which we review much of what was perceived and seen in the work of the writer; and, secondly, in the concepts of minifiction and lyricism, taken from the conceptions of literary theory. In this way, we perform the literary criticism of texts through the analytic-interpretative approach. With this, we seek to analyze and interpret the texts in the light of varied conceptions, according to the configuration of each writing, but always allowing the work itself to provide us with the necessary apparatus to understand it. After our analyzes, we could see that the lyrical resource is used in Dalton Trevisan with the purpose of potentializing the meanings of the minifictions and instituting a range of different approaches and understandings, amplified by the presence of a subjective vision within the textual structure. In addition, the use of this feature allows a transposition of meanings, that is, the break with notions plastered to terms, expressions or perspectives of reading. Thus, lyricism acts in the construction of the open text, capable of being renewed with each reading and of reshaping reality through the singular look of the voice of the text.
