Educação ambiental: entre a teoria e a prática de ensino na educação básica de Delmiro Gouveia - AL

Abstract

This paper presents a reflection on the practice of environmental education in the Delmiro Gouveia-AL basic education network. The transversal nature of the environmental issue in basic education is a frequent object of analysis among several authors who have already studied this theme. Among the main issues addressed is the superficial mode and distance between theory and practice of teaching. Are teachers prepared and aware to carry out education focused on social and environmental issues in line with the theoretical and normative framework that guides the theme? Thus, the objective of this work was to analyze the practice of teaching environmental education, in harmony with the existing norms and theoretical propositions for the treatment of the theme. The methodological procedures used were the bibliographical research that brings reflections of authors such as Suavé (2005), Ruffino (2008) Jacobi (2003), Reis (2003), as well as a documentary research, especially with regard to environmental education standards as PCN'S, LDB, guidelines. Finally, for a better understanding, a qualitative exploratory research was carried out, with 25 teachers from 5 different schools of the city. The instrument of data collection was an interview. The data collected were organized into 4 categories, the 1 st category was the environmental education category, here conceptualization and vision; 2 ° training standards for teachers of environmental education; 3 ° teaching and curriculum in environmental education and 4 ° difficulties to work on environmental education. Through the research it was possible to notice that the environmental education is being worked in a distorted way of what is in the documents and guiding bibliographies. To arrive at the reflections presented here, it was necessary to confront theory and practice. In this sense, we seek to reflect through bibliographical references and norms, in order to contribute to the theme through the result I export here.
